2017: Third time's a charm

Ran this one with Rob, and if I remember correctly it was his first foray into the land of ultras.

We had a wicked time, laughing, joking and calling sheep all sorts of rude names as we passed. The sun was shining, which was brilliant until I ran out of water a few miles before one of the aid stations.

Rob went on when I slowed a little, and in the end, he finished about 2 minutes ahead of me. I didn't care though, I'd got another PB!

The full story's in the book: Chasing the Green Man.
